Hi LibreCV colleagues,
some colleagues from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) are organizing for the 2nd year the Trillion Pixel Challenge for GeoAI, to be hosted virtually on April 21 and April 22. This interdisciplinary gathering will bring together leading researchers to identify barriers, opportunities, and the way forward in using AI methods to exploit high-resolution planetary imagery and other geospatial data for greater societal impact. A brief overview of the workshop is also included with this invitation.
The highlight of this event will be presentations and discussions on societal AI challenges by experts from image science, computer vision, machine learning, high performance computing, social sciences, and U.S. government agencies.
